Thizzelle Washington is The Cutthoat Commitee. The Dubee album was weak. The psd album was weak. what's wrong with these cats? They all got lyrics but the selection of beats are foul play!

In terms of charisma, Mac Dre rules, but PSD is the best in terms of flow and voice. Dubee can still deliver the goods when he's not too thizzed-out. But even when he's only rhyming about partying and bitches, he's at least funny (much like Mac Dre), IMHO.

As for TURFMATIC--call me crazy, but I enjoy it! LOL! I didn't at first, but it's grown on me. It's no classic, but if you approach it as a party-type CD, it's fun...I'll admit that "I Yie Yie" is just plain wack (those three verses are the worst I've heard from Dubee), but otherwise, I don't know why people act like TURFMATIC is such a crime against nature! Just my opinion, though. Different strokes for different folks...LOL!

In some ways, DUBEE A.K.A. SUGAWOLF (from '96) was so uncommonly classic from start-to-finish that it may be one of those gems that just plain can't be topped. This is also the case w/ the other CDs Khayree produced back then. Anyway, hope to hear another Cutthoat Committee CD soon! Yeeeeeeeee!!!

PEACE!

I think Dre is the best.

But I could see the argument for PSD. I think PSD is definitely one of the most underrated rappers in the bay. He comes tight on a lot of shit and has a rythmic musical flow, he doesnt sound bad on hooks either. Im not a big fan of any of his solos but I think his next one will be interesting.

But you got to give it to the boy PS he is getting better and better, some as DRE, but I think PSD is do a little more growing. And he spits the right way for his style he is mastering that just like Dre.

Yup, PSD's improved...I especially like how actually SINGS his own hooks, especially on a number of tracks from U AIN'T HEARD OF ME?!?

I remember an article in MURDER DOG from '99 where PSD admitted that he often likes listening to Blues more than any other kind of music! I believe it--he sometimes sounds like he could be a Blues singer. And hey--in many ways, what IS Rap but modern Blues? LOL!

But yeah, I think Mac Dre's found a nice niche for himself, too--some may bitch about how he doesn't do political raps (YOUNG BLACK BROTHA, etc.) anymore, but if YOU'D been in jail for 3/4 years, YOU'D probably just want to have fun on CD, too. Even when he's not at his best lyrically, Mac Dre is still a fun time on CD (as is Dubee). For Rap that you can party to which still represents the street, The Cutthoat Committee (and Miami, Reek Daddy, Little Bruce, Jay Tee, Baby Beesh, Don Cisco, J-Diggs, Sleep Dank and all their other associates) can't be beat! Yeeeeeeeee!

PEACE!

LMAO..Dre really doesn't pop as many pills as ya'll think. Its a GIMMICK!!! Lynch doesn't eat as many babies as he says, Ludacris doesn't really have all the hoes he raps about. Its entertainment, not real life. The only rappers I ever seen really live up to their 'gimmicks' are MDash, cuz he really does smoke like WHAAAAAAAAAA, and Little Bruce, cuz he's a pimpin fool.

But to answer your question, I think Dre came with 2 of his hardest verses, EVER, on Turf Bucs, Dubee really started to break out of his "the Crest & my perm" rap habit, and PSD comes tight as always.
