the bay area music scene wouldn't be the bay area music scene without Too $hort and E-40. There are other cats that's doin it real big, but without those two, the bay wouldn't haven't had been a factor until years later, and wouldn't have had the sound it does today without the production that was shaped by these 2.

in the past and present it's E-40.. 40 Will will make anyone's shit hot, and will give you some exposure, no matter who you are. People want to hear 40. peroid. In the future it's thte New Bay!! And Quinn, those cats are destined to make a major impact in not only the bay area rap game, but also nation wide. It's only a matter of time before the bay is running the show again, and people everywhere will be bumping our shit.. Real bosses on the come up

Yukmouth, Messy Marv, San Quinn, Keak da Sneak,Mac Dre, E-40 & B-Legit, JT the Bigga Figga and Black C / RightWay Productions just off the top of the head these are the ones putting out conistent heaters and makin moves and reppin the Bay.

Agreed. Get Low, Right Way, Done Deal, Sic-Wid-It (even if they don't release as much stuff as they used to) and Thizz are great labels, and Yuk, Mess, and Keak never disappoint, either.

But I think that 40 Ounce belongs on the list as well--they're way, WAY underrated in terms of making dope CDs that rep the Bay. Playa Jay Tee's projects are always fun and consistent, with bumping production. I'd also say that Sean T. and his clique (Papoose, Sandman, etc.) have been easy to depend on for cool music as well, and they have excellent potential at being great Bay "reppers" as well--IF they can get more exposure (knock on wood).

Fed Ex is not RIP back in November it was touch and go and somebody said he was gone but 151 and Lil Cyco from WCM came on here and set shit straight. he is like fully recovered last I heard. And yeah AP9 is so cold I done put so many peeps up on him.

A boss doesnt have to say shit people just know! And Man Everyone prolly got different definitions of a boss, A Boss is respected by other bosses and everyone one else inclusing people in his own organization, and that title is not giving to you ya cant label yourself a boss..

Bosses can make moves that others can not make...Bosses make you ask them how they do what they doin...Bosses can rome freely in the game...wit that out the way...Quinn is a Frisco Boss...40 is a Vallyjo Boss...E-A- SKI and Keak are Town Bosses...The Frontline Richmond Bosses...Why? Cause all of them doin shit that are puttin them in Boss like situations. Ohh and wit all the shit that the New Bay is doin them dudes could end up being bosses in the game not just the Bay.
