I've been fuckin with Windows 7 for months. First the beta, then the RC and now I've had the actual release for about a month. I have never had a single issue with this OS. Microsoft finally decided to allow people to test the software and advise them of it's shortcomings so they could fix everything BEFORE releasing it. They did a great job on this one.

I think they did that with vista as well, it just didnt work out real well for them

Honestly, Vista is working fine for the meanwhile. My computer is a beast though, so it runs it like nothing.

i actually haven't had any problems with vista on my laptop. but i only do internet browsing and word processing. what problems are you guys actually experiencing with vista im just curious?

I always heard how horrible Vista was before I used it... I got a laptop that came with Vista installed... and it works perfectly fine for me

I dunno, all I do is browse the internet, download music, some word processing for school...

I don't get why everyone hates Vista so much... maybe I just don't know enough about computers... *shrug*

Did you check your hardware's website for support? There's usually updated drivers you can find.

I did, and Santa Cruz just flat out doesnt support vista I guess. I dont really care, Ill be getting Windows 7 in the mail in a week or two so Ill just wait
