yall niggaz is trippin mayne. throwin out names like brotha lynch, young droop and tech nine, and a-wax. i havent heard too many tracks by a-wax but just cuz u like don't mean he's gonna go major. the way to go mainstream is this game is to get radio play and the radio wouldn't think of playing brotha lynch or tech nine on the radio cuz they're below underground, not too many people will no about him if he doesn't get on the radio. and ya whoever hooks up with dre will do big thangs. but on the real though i think San Quinn, Yukmouth, some of the Done Deal Fam, yall had a good point about Paris, don't forget about numskull. and with the tracks that 11-5 put out in 94 and 96 they should've went major. watch out for JT though if he hooks up with Xzibit!!!!!!!!!!!! e-40 and b-legit along with too short are major now so they don't count. -Fillmoe Larry(user 1)

I dont see why people say 11/5 was tight back in the day. They still just as tight as they were back in the day better. Listen to DJ Mark 7's latest mix and tell me that 11/5 song isnt the best one ever. There new shit is dope to...1

personally i thought Tech N9ne's song Slacker had a vibe that if promoted to radio the right way could be embraced by mainstream listeners.

Lynch is almost too grimey for radio ... but traditional radio as we knew it has changed tremendously. Hip Hop is dominating radio right now. Grimey Hip Hop is also bein embraced by the mainstream audiences. I'd like to hear Lynch over some Rick Rock material... Tech N9ne also. But i believe it takes a certain chemistry to be successful on mainstream radio.. not to mention great relationships and a strong financial backing. I think A-Wax has sound that if he was rippin some Rick Rock or Dre type material he'd sound marketable enough for mainstream radio.
Personally I don't think Droop would sound good on radio material. I don't think his style would fit the mainstream mold. Kaoz on the otherhand has the vocals and delivery to rip some radio type a shit. I think people in general try to do too much when attempting to make a "radio" cut and end up overdoing it. jus my opinion.
