I was thinking of this the other day. Even though all 3 of these guys were owned due to injury, i pick Penny. Seems like he just simply vanished one day.

I believe he had a similar injury to Hill. I guess it just never healed right. But yea, he just disappeared.

Penny for sure. At least Grant Hill came back after all his injury problems and became an All-Star again. Then Griffey ressurected his career a lil this past 1-2 years. Not the same as in Seattle, but still a player most teams wouldn't mind havin with that signature swing. Penny though, after Shaq left Orlando, then he got shipped off to Phoenix, and it was straight down hill from there. Then he went off to the Knicks, and he just kept gettin worse. I remember it was around the same time too everyone had the Grant Hill FILAs, the all black Griffeys, and the Penny Hardaway's, the first ones I forget the name but the second ones were the original air foam posists(sp?).

Penny 2's are my FAV shoe of all time, hands down. I was balllllllinnnnn in the whi/blu ones in the 7th grade. If money was no object i would shell out the $400+ that they go for on ebay.

those shoes were so fucking comfortable.....that was back when I'd put extra socks in my shoes to make them puff out....I used to rock those like boots till one day the air bubble popped....shit was fine except when it rained....every time I stepped it sounded like I was trying to squeeze the last drops of ketchup out of an empty bottle :ermm:

does penny still play for the knicks? or did he get traded?
i believe there's a rumor going around that he might play for the seattle supersonics...

but yes, penny hardaway fell off the hardest. griffey is still an active player, and is somewhat productive, grant hill came back from numerous injuries and played at a surprisingly well level, but penny just fell of the face of this planet...
