I honestly don't think I've heard that person yet. Clyde Carson and the Team have definitely made it the closest, not to mention they opened doors when it came to bay area songs with radio appeal. But is "2 step" as catchy as "Throw Some D's" or "Shoulder Lean"? I'm not convinced that we're there yet in terms of catchiness and universal appeal.

We need singles that can compete with Atlanta artists, and music videos that are just as good as theirs.

"Fast Like A Nascar" was a dope ass song, and could have potential national appeal, but compare the music video to "It's Goin Down" by Yung Joc. ATL videos usually have more people, more thick b***es, and more candy painted cars than bay videos. We got the cars, why don't they have more of a presence in our music videos?

Without thinking Clyde Carson hands down. Seeing Clyde performing with Goapele on Soul Train and rippin it was more than enough reason to say he could be felt throughout the globe.

I think Jacka needs to be put into the Category with the likes the major bosses in the bay rap community. His time will definitely come as his music progression matures. Mistah Fab also if he aint there already....

BEING IN NY FOR A WEEK AND ON MY WAY TO ATL
I SEE THAT THE BAY RAPPER THAT IS GONNA BLOW UP FROM HERE HAS TO HAVE A NATION WIDE HIT (NOT A LOCAL HIT) AND HE HAS TO BE ON A MAJOR LABEL WILLING TO PUT MILLIONS BEHIND HIS NATION WIDE HIT AND HIS PROMOTION TO MAKE HIM A NATIONAL GOLD OR PLATINUM ARTIST PEOPLE IN ALL REGIONS CAN APPEAL TO.
ITS THAT SIMPLE, NOT EASY JUS THAT SIMPLE

^^^We all know that (Well I hope we do). We just talking about who has the "APPEAL" not the formula. No bay artist has the formula that isn't middle-aged (40 & Short).

Mob Figaz have that nationwide appeal? Have to totally disagree with that one. People need to stop confusing talent, skill, grind for appeal. Lil Bow Wow has tons of nationwide appeal. =)
