I honestly don't think I've heard that person yet. Clyde Carson and the Team have definitely made it the closest, not to mention they opened doors when it came to bay area songs with radio appeal. But is "2 step" as catchy as "Throw Some D's" or "Shoulder Lean"? I'm not convinced that we're there yet in terms of catchiness and universal appeal.
We need singles that can compete with Atlanta artists, and music videos that are just as good as theirs.
"Fast Like A Nascar" was a dope ass song, and could have potential national appeal, but compare the music video to "It's Goin Down" by Yung Joc. ATL videos usually have more people, more thick b***es, and more candy painted cars than bay videos. We got the cars, why don't they have more of a presence in our music videos?
