Oakland definately puts it down, but i ain't feelin most of their folks. the Delinquents put it down, same with Dru Down, and i'm feelin Meal Ticket, and of course 2Pac is a legend, but i'm just not really feelin the style most folks have... and personally i don't get what the hype is all about on Yuk, he ain't that great.
Overall, i love the style that comes outta Vallejo. imo, the future of the bay are the rising stars coming from the V. Young DRU, Rux, Indecent & Krypto, Kobra Abysmal, Poppi Cas, DL da Arsun, and of course you got the already established folks... E-40 & the Click, The Mossie, Celly Cel, Mac Dre & The Cutthroat Committee, Young Lay, Turf Talk, etc.
Now let me say this again, in no way am i disrespecting Oakland, they put it down, its just that in my opinion, Vallejo got better artists, overall.
i know ima get hella shit for sayin this, but fuck it.

here lets put the past to the side for a second :
the bay artists that i think do what they do best right now and for the near future are as follows: E-40 / Keak / The Team / mistah Fab / Turf Talk / Bailey / Quinn and ya boy. these are most commercial i think and have a good chance of blowin so as you can see it is pretty damn balanced between all 3 cities in the area.

i guess.... if u want let all the BAY AREA anthems street or radio be listed and then followed by which artist/city put those songs out.... haha...this could go on forever....
