Filipinos be fucked up tho. The ones I know that were born here, dont even try and kick it with the filipinos that came from their homeland. Talkin about "I aint kickin it wit no fobs nigga!" shits hilarious.
I used to be that way. Shit, I remember my mom had to beg me the first time I went the homeland for a family reunion. I wasn't really feeling it at first but by the end of the trip I seriously didn't want to go back the the States. I finally got to see where and how my parents grew up and it changed my whole prospective in life. It showed me how much "Filipino-Americans" aren't really Filipinos at all. Already been there twice this year and I'm bout to go there in December.
In my town the dominant asian race is Laotians and they cool. And the Laotian chicks love niggas.Kinda seem like they only date black dudes.Be havin babies by em and all.
Thatz true but.....Im half homie. We dont go by asian. We go by Pacific Islander. Asian usually meanz from the continent of Asia. Next time u fill out some type of app whether itz at the hospital, job app, etc. You'll c that under ethnicity, its usually got Asian and Pacific Islander separate

My girlfriend is half Filipino. Her family is more of the Spanish side (last name Fernandez), but her cousin's husband is more on the PI side (last name Tanagras). It just varies. Ive seen Filipinos who look straight up Chinese...and others that look Mexican.
The Philippines is located closer to SE Asia then they are to Samoa/Hawaii.
"Filipinos generally belong to several Asian ethnic groups classified linguistically as part of the Austronesian or Malayo-Polynesian speaking people. It's believed that thousands of years ago Taiwanese aborigines migrated to the Philippines from Taiwan, bringing with them knowledge of agriculture and ocean-sailing, and displacing the earlier Negrito groups of the islands".

I guess I pointed that out because of what you said...they tend to be less "Asian" and more "Spanish" or "Pacific Islander" in terms of identifiying with an ethnic group. Then again, it makes sense, as each of them represents that ethnic portion of the Philippines.
The Pinoy's up here seem to be more "Asian" then the ones I have encountered from Diego.
