Easy Street Music and Sonic Boom in the Seattle area (indie record stores)
About 10 different online distribution sites.
From the artists themselves whenever possible from their website or myspace paypal links

I download almost everything before I buy it though. If I like 3/4s or more of the album I'll pick up an actual copy if possible (somethings our out of print, limited releases, etc) seeing 99% of the stuff I listen to is not mainstream thus meaning every sale helps.

Best Buy.....but my local one is gay when it comes to local releases....if they don't have what I want I'll go to Amoeba on Haight street in the city but their shit is overpriced. I don't think I'll ever pay for an online download and I like owning CD's so I'll be lightweight mad if the business switches to online only.

Best Buy, Hastings, Amazon.com if I'm lookin for something rare/something not available in the store. Also hit the streets or anywhere that sells local music.
