Ya the White League, who attacked republicans and blacks and tried to secure white rule in lousiana, fought with the almost all black state malitia. 3 whites died, hundreds of blacks died, 3 were convicted but got off free...

We just gonna go down the list of everything that happened in the past? It don't take a historian to say that given one minute the blacks were slaves, the next they were free, the whites arn't just gonna let them be free because they didn't look at them as equals. They still looked at them as slaves and they did not want them to have power at all. The mentality was fucked up back then from all the propaganda and kids being raised up to think that fucked up way...

I dont understand the point of this whole thread...Do you want us to remember all the slaves that were killed and mistreated every time we wear a cotton shirt? Everytime I eat potatoes should I feel bad for the Irish? Cry for the Native Americans every time I eat corn? This whole thing reminds me of the Sopranos episode with Christopher Columbus. Ya ll the shit thats happened in the past was fucked up, our countries origins are shady as fuck, but theres not a fuckin thing that any person on ths entire board can do about it. What is feeling bad for those people going to do? Bring em all back and set things right?
