If you call celebrating Thanksgiving trying to eat a civilized meal with my family without stuffing a wishbone down my sister's throat, then I do celebrate it. I only take it as a time to be with them (whether I like em or not), and be thankful for everything that I have been blessed with (not necessarily material items).
In now way am I condoning the heinous things that were done to Native Americans a couple hundred years ago.

Its just like christmas. I'm an atheist and I celebrate it. Holidays don't necisarily take on what they were meant to in the celebration. Their just excuses to get together and eat food IMO...

me personally i dont care if i am mentally conquered and a slave for the rest of my life so long as i got my family, money, house, roosters, all of which i do, im cool.

this (USA) is a country that gave my great grandfather and his family green cards in the early 1900's to leave a dirt poor, war ridden (mexican revolution) country to come to america and make a better life for themselves, which they did. and even though i will admit it is harder for minorities to succeed than whites its something that can be done if one is determined enough.

the fact is homie....there is no such thing as being "white" i dunno if that is even a color. anyway tho, to me...when someone says "im white" its a cop out because they dont know what their ethnic background is. when someone asks what my ethnic background is...i dont say i am brown! lol i state that i am mexican and native american indian. i know the term "white" is a generalization for people of european descent but damn lol.

For real. I asked a white person what nationality they were once and they said "white". I said "but what ethnicity?", the person looked at me funny, "American-white?". haha
