i aint asking anybody to feel sorry for themselves,this thread was mainly for my brothers in sisters out there...im just passing along some information,,its up to them what they do with it...and since when is remembering our past feeling sorry for ourselves,we are taught in school to be proud of "our past",about the great george washington,rome,greece,christopher columbus,the whites great his-story,but if we try to bring up ours its,quit feeling sorry for yourselves,dont dwell on the past..but we are reminded every single year how great your his-story was with ,4th of july,thanksgiving,columbus day..but forget about the slaughter at wounded knee were hundreds of native americans women and children were murdered and the genocide of over 95% of our population...
ya, i agree with alote of that^^^^^^ but i dont know, i guess it is just a difference of opinions and since i am like 4th generation mexican AMERICAN i tend to feel more american than mexican. all that is great knowledge which most people dont know unless they went to college. but nontheless its great and it shows that you are very knowledgeable about our people.
I know I'm Irish, German, and Scandanavian(sweedish and danish) Most white people I know atleast have a general idea of their ethnicity. Lots of people just don't care for some reason. Lots of people with Irish in them don't even know Irish were used as slaves and that the potato famine wasn't an accident but an act of genocide...
for the reasons stated above blaccs should stop desiring to be call "african-americans" 80% of the blacc population is mixed with white or indian. it is very rare to find a 100% african in america whos heritage extends bacc to slavery.
i feel its organizations such as the NAACP that perpetuate racism in america. i'd rather be just called an american than an african-american. i've got whites and indians in my deliniation why shouldnt i be called white or native american? just because i have color? i know of white people that have been born and raised in africa they are more african-american than me. i've never seen any part of africa aside from national geographic. my breeding is so north america based that i'd have to get vaccinated just to visit africa.

Actually, My great-great grandmother was a slave, and I have a picture of her that shows my her, my grandmother, and my great-aunt standing infron t of a cotton spinning wheel, with a shotgun house in the background. My great-grandmother was a sharecropper, as was her mother after the empamcipation. Actaully, you can se the picture too, for it's in a book called Remembering Slavery on page 109.

My great-uncle came down th visit this weekend from Jersey. He told me that his granmother had red hair, and was probably of Scottish decent...my family last name is of French origin. Put two and two together (yeah, I got kracca in my blood), look at me today and what do you see? A nigga huh? damn a lot of people on here are confused.....it comes down to this, your going to call yourself what ever you want too. Everybody has everything in them like foetwin stated. I can say I'm American if someone asks, but like someone said they would laugh at me if I said that or maybe even think I was stupid. My decent is from Ireland, but that doesn't mean anything, where was it before that...and before that and before that...Fuck that I was born here in america, so i'm an american. Race, color, all that stuff doesn't mean anything when we look at the big picture. It's just something to split us all apart.

No, it does not matter what ethnic orgin you are traced back to. That is true. But when it comes to the study of how America was developed it is the most powerfull influance in devloping this country as well as the rest of the world. Also one must look at it by the diffrent resources each ethnic group recieves from the dominat culture. Look at the domaniant culture is anglo-white English Protastant. They set the standard of living. Not because its the right way to live. But because they took over America in large numbers and rooted in their way of life. So then you got to look how the dominat culture treats other groups comming into the country, that curently live in the country and how they assimilate into the American norm and resources such as education, housing,income level, and social status. So yeah it is something to split us appart. No we are not diffrent. But when it is all boiled down we are still part of our Ethnic Orgin. Ethnicity is not state of mind which is messured biologically but by social standards, on a sociology study.
sorry I am taking a American Studies class at school. And this is the very thing in which we have been studying. I just find it intresting to a degree.

In a couple of decades, whites will be the minority in this country, so all other American citizens who dont fit into the "white" status quo will rejoice at the opportunity to let the truth be known about how white avoidance was the key factor to securing white dominance...
Also, should I find an expert in the scientifcic field of study to visist here to explian to you that the genetics of blacks are dominant to that of whites?
Common sense works well, but for you I will give an example using the Mondale cross-hybrid hereditary theory...for example, a whiteman + whitewoman=???/ whiteman + blackwoman= black baby/ blackman + whitewoman = black baby/ blackman + blackwoman = blackbaby.

I think your confused...You say whites will be the minority...but then say white status. So is white a status or is it the color of skin. Yeah I know darker colors are dominant traits. I thought you meant weak traits as everything, but you just mean color, yeah I already know that, my bad...so everyone is going to rejoice...LOL, sure buddy nothing will change.
