in another thread somebody was saying that Jive contract was meant for MD and it went to E-40 after MD got locked up...any truth to that?...i'm sure E-40 got his deal on merit though because of his independent albums...

EVEN THOUGH HE HAD A LOT OF OFFERS, DRE WAS NEVER GOING TO SIGN WITH A MAJOR.
