I think it's the fact that rap music is based on keeping it real..as a lot of rappers like to claim.

Yes, there are a lot of entertainers in the business who are addicted to some type of drug (s), but to expose yourself like that and let the world know you are a dope fiend...I don't know

And then we often wonder why the majors won't mess with certain artist when they have talent and are overdue in the Game. This is a big part that has to do with downloading music / pirate music. If you flashing diamonds and throwing money around & popping bottles worth $200 + makes it seem, you doing pretty good and have no need for my money to help keep living that lifestyle, while I only dream of drinking that bubbly due to the fact that I can't afford it, but I'm pitching in to get you a bottle?

Same reason why many people would not buy albums anymore to not support that artist's drug habit.

There is nothing that separates anybody doing drugs from these pieces of shit with wasted talent...

Maybe you should stay the fuck out of their personal lives....
kinda hard to do when all they do is rap about the dope game.. ok ok not rap about it, BRAG about it..

thats like the celebs complaining about the paparazzi snapping shots on a busy ass LA street.

they put themselves in a position for people to ask this type of shit. no diss to you..

now to answer the question for everyone who does hard drugs in general... it fills a gap thats missing in someones life.. whether good or bad. period

I understand its hard not to pay attention, but people just need to look at it for what it is. Messy, Nicky, Quinn, etc.., they are who they are and if they choose to snort yadidi, thats their bizzness. Even if they choose to rhyme about it, thats their bizzness. People want their favorite rappers, idols, celebs to act a certain way and when that doesnt happen people go CRAZY and gossip! They're only human. Remember why you like messy, quinn , nicky, rick james, bobby brown, etc.. and like them for that and not for what they do outside of the booth. Now if i was a close friend of say, Messy or quinn, that's another story.

Real good point, but I think it's more the fact that some of these celebs are living the life we wish we could lead. Yet, they fucking it up by doing stupid shit. To the point where there is no need for that shit, but we as humans all have our weak points and can only call it how we see it from the outside looking in.

At my high school cocaine at first was the secretive cool kid thing to do (i was one of the cool kids:cool:). The certain few people in the know got to get there kicks in the backroom but they didn't want to tell anybody else like you were in some sort of private drug club. Then it BLEW up and everyone at highschool parties would be blowing lines in the open. But no one ever really bragged about it. Its funny cause for some reason now I look at coke as a childish drug. Real waste of time and money.

Either that or WE (normal individuals) are living the life they (celebs, artists) wish they had back. And to cope with the stresses and pressures to perform in the limelight, they resort to YADIDI to mask their pain. Just a thought

Either way, as long as the muzik is on point, who cares what they do!
