I THE SHIT WAS IN STYLE LONG TIME AGO I WAS WEARIN EM IN ELEMENTARY/JUNIOR HIGH THE ALL BLACK ONES.. BLACK AND WHIT ONES YEAH IT DIDN'T START IN THE BAY.

I would bet 50 dollars if ANY OF YA'LL had the chance at a free pair of Vans, you would find at least 1 pair that looked good with some of your gear. I dont hate on people for wearing shoes though, that shits as ignorant as racism. FYI- checkerboard slip-ons have been out since about the 70s, maybe even 60s.

Of course, Vans got popular because theyre good for skateboarding. I used to skate and I had a good pair that lasted me a while (which is hard with skate shoes).

Theyre comfy as fuck though, all day. Id take a straight pair of Vans before any Nike shoe out there, except maybe from their "House Of Hoopz" collection. I honestly dont wear Air1's because people are so in love with them damn things these days. My boy got a connek on 40 bones a pair of crispy white Air1s, and Id still rather have paid my 65 for the hi-top Filas Im fuckin with these days.

Bottom Line: If you walk a lot, get a pair of vans. they last long. I can almost garauntee you will find a stylish pair if you order online also.

I been wearing vans since a few years ago but thats because they are a hella good dance shoe. I thought it would be stupid as fuck if hella guys that werent skaters started wearing vans but actually if a nigga can sport em right they do look good.
