Looking from the outside in...

What is going to be the thing that separates Hyphy from Crunk...? Because from a music standpoint...you can hardly tell the difference.

So what is going to be the factor that stops the buying public from writing off Hyphy as just an adaptation of Crunk ?

i see crunk as like a bobbin' kinda slow thing and getting pumped like u gettin' ready to enter the superbowl tunnel as a player...

i see hyphy as what everyone says...fast paced...also like more dancing involved in it....GIGGIN...doin moves that put on a show...

best way i can describe it..

Its only more popular in The Bay.

But what I was talking about was...what is going to separate the two music-wise ?

Lyrics...? Lets be honest...neither Hyphy or Crunk hav given us a good example of great lyricysm, yet.

Both styles create a similar energy...its all about just wildin' out, not caring...having fun...thats on both sides. I understand that Hyphy is a little more extreme..but they're still similar in that sense.

So what does Hyphy have that Crunk doesn't ?

I've heard some good spit over both hyphy and crunk beats, but yes for the most part it lacks lyricism

crunk is east coast and huphy is bay that what seperates it
East Coast? dumbass...

Remember, people were having sideshows bumpin crunk music in the bay...so saying "ghost riding" and "dancing on the roof" and shit like that won't really count

so whats the difference?

as people say they are related to each other, but in the sense that cousins are related... not like twins...

crunk is about being crazy, sayin "HWHAAAAAT," A-town stompin, and throwin 'bows in the club

hyphy is also about wildin out at the club like retarded idiot who dont give a fuck. but then afterward proceed to stomp the shit outta the rooftops of scrapers with ur stunna shades on as people on the inside are gas breakin and dippin with the doors wide open while shakin dreads and screamin "Yee! Yee!"

hyphy is about thizz facin and doin donuts in ur whip

crunk is about snappin fingers and eating donuts in ur whip
