Khayree was/is one of the best Bay producers ever. The problem is, people connect HIM with a bunch of rappers that should have appreciated REAL production while they had it. Point being, people associate a lack of Khayree with rappers who will put out a garbage record just for the sake of a few sales. The coolest shit about early 90's Bay music was you could tell that Khayree loved the artform and strived to make our corner of the music a force to be taken seriously by majors and independents alike. His production forced majors to come out this way and look for his music, there was no conforming to whatever was hot at the time.

Yeah, Mall's shit has been absolutely horrid without Khayree. Ray Luv is one of the most talented rappers in the Bay and I can't stand to listen to his stuff without great production, although he at least tries to get better production than most of the Thizz camp. It just goes to show what a great producer can pull out of talented mc's, look at Ray Luv's "Forever Hustlin" - one of the best Bay albums of all time. The reason - great mc working with an awesome producer that pushed him to make great music. There's still much talent in the Bay, just a complete lack of real producers willing to push rappers to make quality music.
