If you're paying $500 for a sub...you're gettin' ripped off.
I would pass on all of the above.
Kicker...there's better out there/everyone has them. Although those new Solo X's seem nice.
Same with JL Audio. Good speaker, but everyone has them.
MTX just sucks.
I go to the stereo shops around here and everyone's like, "Hey, get these W7's. They're really nice, everyone has them."
Why in the hell would I want something everyone else has?
They ain't all that IMO. You can find something just as nice, if not better, for the same price.

I'm surprised none of y'all mentioned Rockford Fosgate. They got some good subwoofers and amps at an affordable price. I got both bottom of the line amp/sub (12's) package at Best Buy a while back, came with a custom box too and they sound pretty damn clean. It ain't no competition type shit, but it definitely suits my needs.

Audiobahn AW1200Q subs what i have. I got them for 79.99 a peace on ebay. Oh and whoever is telling this fool to get the (M)ade (T)oo (X)pode speakers above I really wouldnt go with those. The magnet speaks for itself on those small as hell. magnets make the subs. you can have all the watts in the world without a good magnet you aint shit.

If i was you I would get that shit. thats cheaper than I paid for em and the same price for those peace of shit MTX ones. you pay shipping which i calculated with shipping you pay 200 bucks. 25 bucks a peace for each sub to be shipped. trust me though you will be way happer with audiobahn than MTX. I do agree with dudes who said KICKER SOLOBARICKS those are tight and do a damn good job. JL AUDIO is tight but everyone and there grandma has JL AUDIO and they are overpriced expensive shit. If you got the money for them go ahead.
