THERE WILL BE BLOOD

4 out of 5

Amazing acting by Lewis, the movie itself is very slow paced but the story is very well written. Lewis is ruthless and cut throat turn of the century oil baron who will stop at nothing to get what he wants. This movie has one of the best endings to I have seen in along time.

watched m.knight's "devil" last night .... movie was good with a twist ending....one of his better films....do yourself a favor and watch it...
I haven't seen it, but I wanted to point out that M Knight fagg-alan didn't direct this movie it was directed by John Erick Dowdle. M. Dyke Shyamalan wrote the story (the screenplay was written by someone else though).

I watched BURIED last night....very interesting movie. I would highly suggest checking this movie without knowing what its about and dont have any expectations. Having said that, I researched it a little before I peeped, and was pleasantly surprised.

I read a lot of people didnt like the way it ended, but I felt the ending was perfect. Solid 7/10 but I can't see myself watching it again

Awesome movie! It took me a while to finally watch it, because it just didnt sound very good (even though it's been recommended to me numerous times). I caught it on comedy central early this morning and it was well worth the 2 hours + commercials. Great story, character developement, acting, etc. I felt like I could watch it again just a few hours later. Definitely worth the time.

Upon your reccomendation I watched it. I watched it til the end thinking there may be some hint of greatness as you stated. Damn it was pretty uneventful. I realize each person has there own likes and dislikes..but I could not reccomend this to anyone I know. This reminds me of some movie I watched that was filmed in Auckland and people on IMD from Auckland rated it really high...and I was left with the question of what rock did these people just climb from.....you stating you could watch this again a few hours later has me asking the same question to you.

Rubin and Ed.. great movie 8/10

"This movie is a story of two failures who get thrown into each other's worlds for one of the most bizarre journeys ever captured on film. As an avid lover of truly weird films, I find Rubin and Ed to be an irresistible comedy.

Crispin Glover is, as always, wonderful. He portrays Rubin, a social outcast and complete shut-in who's forced to go out into the world to prove to his mother that he is making friends, so she'll give him back his stereo.

He comes across Ed (Hessman), who is a "fraud failure" trying his hand as a member of "the organization," which is portrayed as some sort of real estate cult. The two wind up traveling into the Utah West Desert to bury Rubin's recently murdered cat, and come to hate each other entirely as they become the most unlikely pair of friends.

This movie is not for everyone, and indeed it is not easy to find even in Utah (where it is set, and from whence director Trent Harris hails). Rubin and Ed is a remarkably strange and offbeat film. It's the epitome of a cult classic, and as such will inevitably leave you thinking, "huh?" However, if you're tired of Hollywood's sanitized story lines and obvious repetition, I highly recommend trying to find a copy of this movie"
