Of all of the major cities in the country, what city needs/deserves a new professional team (NFL, NBA, MLB, or NHL)?

I'd say...

(Besides Las Vegas needing SOMETHING...)

NBA: San Diego
NFL: Los Angeles
MLB: No idea.
NHL: No idea.

NFL: The Las Vegas Gamblers with Steve Spurrier as head Coach
WNBA: The Showgirls (Doesn't matter if they can play, as long as they're hot)
NHL: The Las Vegas IcyHots sponsored by IcyHot

there isnt a league that can put up with any more watering down. nba, nfl, mlb, i dont know about the nhl but there are way too many shitty teams around.

so could boston, and philly, and new york, and etc...

im a celtics fan in case youre tryin to diss me but we could use a team as well. this year we should be a lock for the playoffs, im thinkin a 5 or 6 seed at worst, which isnt saying much considering its the eastern conference but..

Pittsburgh could use an NBA team considering we'll have a brand new arena in 2009-2010, but that would flop. The city can barely afford to support NFL, NHL, and MLB. We almost lost the Penguins this year, and the Pirates haven't been competitive since before I hit puberty.

I agree that leagues can't afford to be watered down anymore. 32 teams is about max.

I just wish the Patriots would call themselves the Boston Patriots so everyone in Connecticut, Vermont, Maine, etc. would realize that they don't have a professional football team.
