Nike has definately capitalized on our generation. I buy shoes now because when I was in school, moms would only buy us one or two pairs of shoes. So all those shoes that came out back in the 93-98 era that I wanted so bad are being retroed now and I keep buying em up. That combined with a generation of people with horrible spending habits equals big profits for Nike and other companies retroing shoes.

yeah, i was broke as fuck back then and i didn't have the heart to ask moms or dads for brand names and would always get the off brand shit and play it off like they were the real deal. sure got clowned alot...ha

and BKs are still in but i think only sold in europe. i'd sport them too if people want to go throwback and shit...i'd wear fucking LA Gear, Ewings and whatever else thats old and outta style

Thats so damn true. When I was a kid I had the most busted ass sneakers. They made payless sneakers look like Jordans. Kids would always clown in junior high. Now I always have something tight on my feet, I guess you could say im making up for those days...
