I disagree. WOODIE was in the public eye, he was an entertainer/artist/businessman. Alot of these cats on here connected to him, idolized him, and loved him for whatever reason because they felt a connection to his pain, and his struggle thru his music. So to be hush-hush about how he passed is detrimental to his memory, due to the fact that when folks dont know, then rumors get started. Then people will have to defend his legacy and his whole get down against some rumor that some hating ass cat started that is entirely UNTRUE. His fans DO deserve to know what happened. After all they are what made East Coco records what it was, throught there love for the music and them buying the music that they love, from the man, the role-model that they loved. Yes, I do agree there is a proper time to let the public know, while letting the family and loved ones grieve over the loss. This is why when a major celebrity passes they are quick to say how and why, because rumors are vicious. A strong lie always beats out a weak truth.
Any word on services for him?
