WHAT HAPPENED TO THE MISTAH FAB VS. KMEL THREAD???

It's one thing to break news and another to complain when shit doesn't go your way. Life isn't fair (it's actually kinda fucked) and when FAB got his radio show oppisite The Chop Shop on the key listening night/slot lines may have been drawn. Is it fair- not my call. 40 has a show on KMEL and gets play on the two stations, but the thing is that 40's show is on Sunday at 3pm and not competing with any other mix show. Plus 40 is 40...the "Ambassador" of the Bay. Fab is a talented, hot artist- not a Bay Area legend. I'm sure this will all be worked out (being that they boath work for Clear Channel) and made to be an internet rumor gone wild in the near future. I like FAB and Big Von's part in making the Bay get its shine so I can't call one bitch made for this and "awww that's fucked up" for that. This is a 1 on 1 thing that should have never made it to the siccness in the manor that it did in the first place. Because if one person did some shady shit best believe the other person did to...and if they boath started snitchin on each other it would be another black eye on the Bay. This is the time for the Bay to come up...not crumble.

in radio there is no down time, you competing 24 hours a day... and 40 could be the ambassador of the bay.. but mistah fab is the future! and every one knows theres nothing more important than the future... it is what it is, so to try and take away is wack. im sure kmel didnt mind fabs presence at the comedy jam. people love him and to take him away from the people's station...but i do agree wit, its time for the bay to come up!

You missed a large portion of my point, but I feel you. My point is the truth is a multisided thing and just because one person got on here and told "the truth" doesn't mean that it's the whole truth. Until FAB, Big Von and Legendary all get on here and type it out, we don't know what the hell is going on. I do think that FAB is APART of the future of the Bay granted, but he is not the future (IMO). And also FAB has a strong street presence ( I assume) so that means the people will always have access to him. Him not being as present on one station (while being boosted 10 fold) on another station doesn't lessen his presence with the people. They can still go out and buy his album and unlike 99.9% of the artist in the Bay (that includes the likes of San Quinn, Keak, 2Short...) they don't have a radio show and a power structure behind them like FAB does. Yellow Bus Radio is worh all the spins lost on KMEL IMO (if the shit really went down like that). That radio show is power. It's like getting spun for 2 hours non stop...and more power to FAB for getting it. And there is down time in radio as far as on air/mix show rating are concerned. Yes I agree the people should know, but at the same time the people shouldn't gauge the truth based upon 50% of the situation and information. But I respect your opinion and how you feel about my comments. I just know that we as listener's don't know the whole story to pass judgement and fully place blame. Personally I want to hear more Living Legends, Zion I...on BAy Area radio. Those artist have the right to be biching about radio play...not people who get air play all day every day.

Can we get a VALID response from SCOTTY FOX OR BIG VON OR whoever makes theese decicisions. i think the people deserve a reason why your not playing the bay's next star. All i wanna know. if its personal. so be it. if its business which would be toooooo dumb, i just wanna know the REASON!!!!!!
