It all started when 40 high school kids beat up a city worker who has been with the city for 20 years, not only did they crack his skull but they robbed him too!

I have no clue what's wrong with Vallejo. It's been going downhill fast for a few years now.

But yea, this much violent crime in a small city in one week is nuts.

Well not trying to knock any area but all young kids nowa days try to prove their self.. They watch gandland or a bio on some original gangsta & think hey Ima shoot someone in a ice cream truck & have street rep.. But when they hit the pen they get ass fucked... Shits crazy now days I remember a few years back when i was 19 I was chillen over in the projects around here & like a 8 year old came up, was tellen me & my folks about how he jumped in a started car at the shopping center & took off but got caught.. Little kid was saying all kinds of stupid shit.. I was like wtf.

P.S. Ive had little 11-12 year olds ask me to buy em bullets & shit

*Waits for some "Community Leader* getting on the news and saying "See? We need more after-school programs for these kids!"*

lol....Such bullshit
Why is that "bullshit"? My buddy works for a company that actually helps communities get STARTED with these types of programs here in Seattle. Last time i checked, Seattle had a lower crime rate then Vallejo.

Dont under-estimate the power of youth programs. Some of these kids have no where to turn and gangs are the first ones to recruit. Gotta cut em off somewhere.
