truth be told i like his beat selection more than him. its kinda like french montana in a way to me..or even lil b....hell have a dope ass beat and thatll make the song so the mc has minimal work..never heard trilla but i liked deeper than rap..once again great beat selections and the beats were professional sounding and mastered and mixed great

the only reason i listened to deeper than rap is because 50 cent had him under fire so i knew that dude would be under pressure to make a good album while all eyes were on him..IMO thats why he has such a buzz, he capitalized on a bad note and turned it into something good..

beyond his layers of lies hes a entertaining rapper, but he does have a cop background...ive just noticed more and more mc's showing him love lately...

i dont let his public image or the peoples opinion about him as a person fuck with my ability to listen to his music...if its tight its tight if its not its not...i like some shit and some shit i think is weak

i wouldnt buy his album based on his background tho...ill play it on my computer....but behind all the smoke and mirrors it is possible he might just be a hustler, miami dade is historically known for cop corruption/cocaine smuggling/selling/etc...who knows...

but really its rap, i dont take rappers too serious...i dont expect talented rappers to be the hardest muthafuckas ever
