I think the album suffers from way to much hype. People made them the keynote speakers for the Bay coming back...and they are not. I will say this, the album is better then 90% of the Bay music that's been coming out...I think they (along with others) opened the door for the Bay to have a presence on the radio and the music has been working. when they play Bay shit in the clubs, people go stupid...I think Ric Rocks beats are tight but they need tight rapping to make them sound like the Major Label quality hits. I think Doonie can rap, stress is cool, but Goldie (the one that be hella growlin) HE SUCKS!!! I don't think they are that good, but they shit ain't hella bad...but thet didn't live up to the hype.

You can't really listen to this album ONE time and then form an opinion on it . Rick Rock's production is unique and different and that's what I like about it. After like 3 or 4 listens through the WHOLE album, I can't really say I didn't like one track. I have favorites over others, but there's nothing on there that I would skip.

I think it's kind of along the lines of 40's last album. I didn't really feel much of it at first but after a couple of spins that shit was knock from start to finish. Maybe some of you need to listen to it a few more times and soak it up a bit more. I can see how Rick Rock's production can be repititve and somewhat annoying but that's his style. It's that shit that'll stick in your head after hearing it once. I mean shit, look at all that Lil' Jon shit that blew up, same formula if you ask me. Catchy beats and hooks and that's what it seems like the Federation is doin'.

Anyway, I think it's a solid album: 8.5/10 --I can see how you true bay rap fans wouldn't feel it though.

Damn... dissapointed once again. I am not feeling one track at all. Not even one. Got to the 10th track and I was fucking pissed that there wasn't a song that i liked at that point. It got to the point that I was hoping for at least ONE track to come thru. At the end .... nothing. I was not feeling the producition at all. And I do like Rick Rock beats. But on this album, shit was something else. Another thing about the cd, most of the cd is all amped. Track after track. Shit gets annoying. I don't mind the amped music but track after track it gets too annoying. And then you got some laid back tracks towards the second half of the cd mixed inbetween them hyphee ass songs... Uhhh it didnt mix well. I've been trying to give this album a chance but it isn't happenning.

Like Too Short says: "... and when i hear your shit I push eject. Then I throw it out the window with the rejects."

damn, not often on here you get this many ppl on here to agree on an album with this much hype being weak, kinda surprised...usually ppl start crackin under the pressure and dont want to be a called a hater so they post what certain ppl might want to hear, nice to see some honest opnions for once....oh yeah one more thing

THIS IS WHY THE BAY WILL NEVER BLOW UP!!!

figured i would throw it out there before somebody else does,im sure its comin soon, haha

I think most people dont like it because the style is not all mobbed out like what most people grew up on. It's not bad for the bay, its fucking great. High diversity is good, there is less chance of failure. that's a proven fact in life. And i'm not just saying this because i like the cd. 9/10!!! that shit slaaaaaaaaaaaapss

Its sad that every time someone posts an opinion you have to be a hater, or jealous even. But honestly... as much hype and radio spins these niggas get I expected a solid album and I was dissapointed, key word "I". For those that like it, went out purcahsed and supported them and the album itself, ect. ect. that is coo! I also wish the Federation the best of luck as well, but the way I see it they won't get too much love anywhere outside of the bay! Maybe I am wrong, but that is how I see it.

The bay is so desperate right now we expect everything that has a cover and a tracklist on the back of it to blow the doors open for us! no one outside the bay no what hyphee is, or what a scrapper is... let alone care about all of that! just like i always say the music for the bay is for the bay! once i see other parts of this country besides nevada, kansas, seattle ect. listening to our shit and adapting to our style like people do the east and the south i will think otherwise.

I mean Rick Rock came real creative with the beats n shit sorta old school wit it. Tight. I mean I ca feel yall for saying they got too much hyphee on it..but that they style...let them niggas shine right now...Personally Im on some other shit but everybody should not sound the same at all out here. It's too many fuckin rappers out here. They shit is hard. Period. Show these niggas some love. DAMB! who get the club more pump out here than THE FEDERATION? huh?

the only reason i was waitin for this album was because of Doonie Baby...i was never feelin anybody else's flow in the group...and other then Doonie, they weren't really up to par with thier flow...production was on point (in my opinion)...i'd give it a 7/10...
