I live in a 2 br house, that I rent from my boss, who happens to be my neighbor. We live on 23 acres in the only privately owned wetlands in Northern California. Pay $800 a month, and not having nosiy neighbors, hearing cars go bumpin by and no sirens is worth the $800. AND we have a pirate ship!

I can see the whole east bay from my front porch damn near.


Our property is self-sufficient, it runs on propane and batteries and we have water trucked in. All that shit is housed in this building.

The landlord added an extra floor to the house and renovated it last year, so I convinced my boss in Germany that I can move into the third floor and only to pay 1/5 of the rent.
