School just started up for fall quarter here in Seattle. I know in Cali it started a little earlier though. What classes are you currently taking and for what degree?
I'm currently taking pretty boring classes, english 101, psych 110 and business 170 - information technology, which is just formatting documents in word for business. I'm working on my AAST (Associate of Applied Science - Transfer) in accounting, and will transfer to University of Washington if my transfer credits apply correctly or another 4 year to get my BA. From there I plan to make the state requirements and take the CPA exam to become a certified CPA (certified public accountant).
I have already worked for a CPA and just loved it there. I would have continued there, but got offered a better paying job. Taxes are not as boring as it seems. Did a lot of tax returns and other tax matters for people making $100,000+ a year, including a guy who made over a mil, and also managed the books for a guy who is in the basketball hall of fame twice (I'll let you figure out the name). I did all these on my own and then gave them to the CPA I was working for and he reviewed them.
