E-40 for all the work he been doing with the whole SicWidIt back in the days - just consider how many rappers came up because of that label.
Also I got a lot of respect for Mac Dre - like 40 he was an entrepreneur takin the bay area to a whole nother level.

I would say these two individuals had the most impact on the whole scene.

Let me put the reasons why.

Mall-gives back to the community
Sellassie-has a revolutionary message and his content is very intelligent. He's not scared to speak on real shit.
JT-respect his business moves and he gives back to the community.

Shouldn't the one you respect for their hustle, message, content and artistic skill be your favorite rapper? Just curious as to what people use as a barometer of making one their favorite/most respected and why are the two not the same.
