What bay artist really sale more then 10 thou

There is about 10,000 bay area rappers. Old bay new bay its all the same every bodies in the same pool. Im an CEO/Artist myself and im moving to the yay area in 2 months hoping to push my cd. Whats the average sales for a bay area rapper.

Thats about it. Their are a handful of 5,000 and up but not many. Im going according to Soundscan not trunk sales. And i someone says they sold 5K out the trunk but have NO soundscans then they are usually lying.

come on now, its dry out here and oversaturated for sure but good product still sells. Hey b-12, check the soundscans for Andre Nickatina cause I knonw he selling way more than 10k. I would put money that he sells more than quinn, messy, or jacka

Chase: I havent checked a Nickatina soundsscan lately but I will for you and post it here tommorow. Nickatina definitely sells better than most Bay cats but alot of his sales really are at his shows which are not SoundScan.

We are talking about nowdays dog not eight years ago. Back then everyone was selling weight B-Legit, Luniz, Concious Daughters, Dru Down, Celly Cel, Delinquents, Cellski, Dre Dog, 11/5, 4Tay, San Quinn, JT The bigga Figga, Mac Mall, etc.

To b-12: good lookin on the info. Keep postin them soundscans your one of the only people who actually has access. Your right that nickatina sells alot at live shows. I bet he still scans quite a bit though cause everytime he drop a cd its number 1 at rasputens for a while and when his last cd dropped it was number 2 or 3 at tower records for about a month

shit my album with erase-e sold 1,890 with pretty much no promotion enough to put out nothin but heat which sold 1,000 not bad also no promotion really just flyers this iz richmond im expecting 2,000 or more a lot of cats do not keep it real on how much they sell when me a erase-e were in the source a few months back that helped us sell another 500 unit outta state and helped with a fan base out side of the bay

I respect that Kontac and yeah a couple thousand sales is actually good if cost were contained. Then the next one does 500 more and the next one after that does 500 more etc. Until a fanbase is developed and those sales come alot easier.
