I am pretty sure Tech is agnostic...it would make sense since hes said many times hes not a devil worshiper obviously (message to the black man and keep on keepin on)...and he grew up in a religious home but was turned off from it when he got older and in hope for a higher power I don't recall him rashing on god (I don't consider questioning or doubting gods existence as a rash on god) at all, so that leads me to believe hes agnostic. I think religion is important and relevant to tech since he grew up with it and it effected who he is today in some aspects whether it be how he raps or what he spits about in his songs etc.
No offense man, im saying this for comedic affect.... kinda

Leave it up to the over obsessed fan to resurrect an old ass thread speculating entirely too much on an entirely groupieish topic.

Nah man it's a song about how he equates his family to a snow globe. Like his fam is in this protective bubble and everything is beautiful when you shake it up.

Because of Jesus.

I knew it.

Nah man, I can't. Tavis' girl sent the shit to me with a box of promo back in the day in exchange for me taking down a pic of Trav and some other kid. It's a Flames mixtape thing. I can't give it out. She has my word.

Okay so I know we're beating a dead horse here but I think it's kinda like that Juggalo "Thy Awakening" Shit...all his music has a message that the normal listener hears, then theres that subliminal shit that tells a story of it's own. I think tech is spiritual but definitely doesn't claim a religion...probably like people said before, an agnostic...but I think that it's a big thing to him because it's brought up constantly in his tracks...just listen out for religious references and you'll hear em on at least half his tracks on his albums.

Thy Awakening was a cop-out because J and Shaggy realized that their "Dark Carnival" gimmick would only "end" one way. They flipped it in the end so it would be more appealing to new consumers. That was a fucking joke. A huge let down for someone that followed the "dark carnival" gimmick.

You laugh, but they spent the better part of 10 years telling a dark story, only to end it with "diamond rain" and "heaven" when they made a point never to point out blatantly the mention of heaven and hell in their music. 90% of their gimmick songs were about morality, but not necessarily God and Satan. They've made mention as to why they did it that way, and the basic thought behind it was they had no idea how to end an era of darkness with any great effect. They chose the safe route.
