Jim Harbaugh was elated after the 49ers 25-19 win. Harbaugh was leaping up and down and when he shook Lions’ head coach Jim Schwartz’s hand he slapped him on the back. Schwartz turned and snarled at Harbaugh, Schwartz chased him and then a skirmish ensued. Eric Branch just tweeted that Schawrtz chased Harbaugh 40 yards down field and then Vernon Davis had to separate the two coaches.

Lions coach Jim Schwartz addressed the media after Sunday’s loss to the 49ers, and the first question related to the post-game scuffle between the two head coaches.

Said Schwartz: “I went to congratulate [Jim] Harbaugh and got shoved out of the way. . . . I didn’t expect an obscenity at that point.”

Schwartz declined to say who shoved him or shouted the obscenity, but given the manner in which Schwartz answered the question, it’s pretty clear that Schwartz at least thinks it was Harbaugh.

Peter King and I are trying to track down more info on this one. We’ll be addressing it during Football Night in America, which airs on NBC at 7:00 p.m. ET.

Great win... lions played like pussies on those last 2 series. Harbaugh has worked miracles for the niners, night and day difference from retarded ass singletary.
