Here's something i'm working on for the weedheadz..they pretty much drew it out how they wanted and this is whats done so far.... What yall think??

yeah dubba has done work for them..they emailed me unedited pics of them..and he had sent a scan in of exactly how they wanted it..and thats what I did..so hopefully you aint saying i'm biting..giving them exactly what they want...

So you telling me you designed that mexican weed heads text/logo all over again and it just happened to come out exactly like the one Dubb did?

if so then wow and my apologies but i highly doubt it.....im guessin they sent you that text/logo along with their lil blueprint....

i aint trying to knocc your work ive seen you do good things but if i had to use any elements that i know werent designed by me id make it clear when posting up the work instead of just saying hey look what i did knowing everyone will assume i did it all myself...

Good shit on the art. SMH @ some of the responses tho. So he used their logo that they had made as well as pics they took for designs......where are you confused there? Does that sound crazy to you? I'm serious, like not talking shit at all. You've never had someone offer you a job and tell you to use these pics and this logo?

lol..ok let me clarify this up for you..obviously they sent me their logo in solid black and white..and as u can tell from the scan they sent in..it says they want it in chrome..so thats what I did..obviously u didn't look at the scan they did..and if u did, you will see I did everything they asked..

What difference would it make.... that's the clients logo. You can see in the sketch up they sketched that logo, so they must have designed the original or at least the concept because it looks a lot like the other cover.

99.9% of the time the client never has the original logo or even a good version that is usable, you always have to recreate it and if you are good at what you do it should look the same.

Just because the guy gave the client what he wanted exactly including the logo regardless if he designed the original.... you knock him? I could see if he took someone's cover and photoshop'd their heads like a mixtape cover on a movie poster... but the logo would have to be recreated to apply the layer style, etc.... and I doubt the client would approve anything less than the logo being exactly like it has been on every other cover.

I don't like the chrome text but if that's what the client wanted... it's cool looks clean.. client is always right... errrrr:ermm:
