he's out at least 1 game with a knee tear....

Im a fan of Peterson, but thats the knock on him is he is prone to injury.. hopefully he makes a good recovery and gets back to tearin it up tho..

sad thing is Raiders will prob still lose this game

i never responded in the thread where everyone was calling him the best back in the league, so here are my 2 pennies. I believe he is awesome and will be great. He is/was having the best season out of all backs but its way to premature to say he's the best period.

Lots of ?'s to be answered like: can he stay healthy? Ras says it right when pointing out AD has never been able to do this.
Will he wear down? the nfl season is longer and more rigorous than the college season

can he block? can he catch? to be the best you gotta be able to do both

and finally, that upright style he has is classic but dangerous, he admitted that he loves taking the pounding and just cannot go out of bounds, thats the wrong way to stay around as a running back in the nfl.

I think its a good thing there is no way he's gonna run all over us. But at the same time if we did stop him that would be a confidence builder so I'm 50/50 on that.
Speaking of AD.
My boy at work asked me if I'm bummed out that we didn't draft peterson?
I told him no I wasn't. Becuz he wouldn't be with good oline and he would suck with us. I was being real do yall agree? Or do u think he would look as good as he does with us?

Peterson would have been a good back no matter where he went..

But no he wouldn't be as good as he is with the vikings..

heres 2 simple reasons they play indoors on turf and are in the NFC

The name Jamal Anderson comes to mind... yall remember him stiff-armin muthafuckas and never goin outta bounds? 1998 - 410 carries, 1,846 yards and 14 touchdowns... 3 years later he was done with a ACL

Vikings also have the best leftside offensive line in football hands down(McKinnie LT, Hutchinson LG, Birk C). AP reminds me so much of LJ 2 years ago when he came in halfway through the season and murdered the statlines, LJ also had a super strong leftside of the line to run behind not even including Shields at RG. Im not taking anything away from either AP or LJ here, the olinemen blocking for them would say its the RB that makes the line look good and the running back will say its the linemen that makes them look good...it works both ways...

all in all....AP is a GREAT RB regardless of the talent that he has blocking for him, same goes for LJ, i dont give a rats ass what ya'll say...lol OUR Oline is the worst in the entire league now...and he still managed to get a few hundred yard games with defenses stacking the line and not worrying about the pass...believe me i know these things, after watching such a great oline in the vermeil era and seeing the line perform now, the line makes a HUGE difference in how well a RB performs regardless of the skill level.

There offensive line has more to do with Peterson's running, then being indoors and in the NFC. But you wouldnt know that.

LOL @ you being serious with thinking that.

I don't hope for people to get hurt, but since he is...

...the Raiders could still get torched by a backup.

If they can hold on to the, no excuse me, THEE fucking ball for ONCE, ESPECIALLY in the FINAL MINUTES, then maybe, JUST MAYBE, these MOTHERFUCKERS, not muthafuckas, but MOTHERFUCKERS could win a FUCKING game.

Oh yeah...Go Raiders.

if Kiffin isnt putting in Russell then I'd like to see Culpepper play.. we already saw him handle his old team now let him handle the original team that got rid of him, He'll be pumped for victory
