I think every album belongs to a certain era of rap. I agree that SOTS was definitely a trendsetter for sicc music, however I don't think there would be as many people to feel that album if it were to come out today than when it did come out. We appreciate it as fans because the majority of us probably heard it when it first came out or within a year or so of its release. I appreciate SOTS and like it because of the fact that it changed rap and its boundaries, let alone the talent that came with it.
