I mean you cant really hate the guy, would you want to play for the Warriors? There 3-4 years away from being serious and thats the length of his contract.

I think he's just going about it the wrong way.

What makes you think the Warriors are 3-4 years away from being serious besides Anthony Randolph?

I just meant that if they are going to be a serious threat in the league, its not going to be until probably 4 years from now.

In 2013.....

Randolph will be 24.
Biedrins will be 27.
Curry will be 25.
Ellis will be 28.
Wright will be 26.
Morrow will be 28.
Even Turiaf will only be 30 in 4 years.

And Jackson will be 35 in 2013.

The young talent of the Warriors is between 20-24 and will be just getting into their prime in 4 years, while Jackson knows that he is on the backside of his career right now. Jackson knows that by not trading away any of their young players, the Warriors are going to stick to rebuilding mode and see what develops.

But Jack knew that no other team was going to sign him to anything close to what he got with his contract extension with the Warriors. The game is either, take a pay cut and pay on a winning team or take the big money and play for a losing team.

He wants his cake and he wants to eat it too.
