It is some real funny shit watching other forums talking about the whole MTV sell out shit. Why is it that broke ass people want Tech to stay underground....oh I guess misery loves company. I got an email from a dude on myspace that actually said;
"thats the point of the underground, its for the fans, u shouldnt care bout money or makin yur audience bigger, juggalos like n9ne's music cuz wut he stands for, hes hip hop thats not on mtv which is rare nowadays.."

What is that all about?? How about the fact that Tech has mouths to feed and a label? What about the fact that he has an opportunity to kick the doors in and invite a new era of Hip-Hop? What about the fact that a lot of people overseas don't get flyers handed to them on the street or get US radio. This is still underground...but rising to the surface. Tech aint changed but the game will.

LMAO when me and some of the So. Cali street teamers hit up Hollywood with fliers, we get the occasional gay guys that say "Ohh, his hair is soooooo cute!! I'll give him a listen!"
That is definitely the most hilarious thing i've heard all week.

the voting guidelines

The voting period shall start on July 17, 2006 and shall continue on a weekly basis until specified by MTVN, in its sole and absolute discretion (each, a "Voting Period"); provided, however each Voting Period shall commence on Monday at 11:00 AM (EST) and continue through Friday at 11:59 AM (EST). No robotic, programmed, script, macro or other automated votes (collectively "Automated Votes") permitted. Automated Votes or votes that have been tampered with will result in disqualification of all such votes. All entry information submitted, if any, becomes the property of MTV Networks On Campus Inc ("MTVN") and will not be returned.

The music video which receives the highest number of votes via online and wireless will be deemed the winner. In the event of a dispute or for any other reason, MTVN deems it necessary or appropriate, MTVN reserves the right to make the final winner determination.

MTVN is not responsible for any problems or technical malfunctions of any telephone network or lines, computer on-line systems, servers or providers, computer equipment, software, failure of email or players on account of technical problems or traffic congestion on the Internet or at any web site or combination thereof, including injury or damage to you or to any other person's computer related to or resulting from participating in this voting process. If, for any reason, any aspect of this voting process is not capable of running as planned, including infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures, or any other causes beyond the control of MTVN which corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of the voting process or for any reason MTVN deems it necessary, MTVN reserves the right at its sole discretion to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the voting process. Should the voting process be terminated prior to the stated expiration date, notice will be posted on mtvu.com.

By participating in this voting process, you agree to be bound by these voting guidelines and by the decisions of MTVN which are final in all matters relating to this voting process.

All interpretations of these voting process guidelines and decisions by MTVN are final. MTVN reserves the right at its sole discretion to disqualify any individual it finds to be tampering with any aspect of the voting process or the operation of the voting process or web site; to be acting in violation of these voting process guidelines; or to be acting in an unsportsmanlike or disruptive manner, or with intent to annoy, abuse, threaten or harass any other person.
if anyone somehow, some way, finds a way to disqulaify tech out of this whole shin-dig that he's about 2 dominate with his votes...well im not one to make any online threats i suppose, but please please please just dont be that guy...that would really bust my balls 2 say the least

Travis and I vote at least fifty times a piece per day. We really need everyone on here and on myspace.com to vote as much as possible (without cheating) over the net 23 hours. The vote ends tomorrow at 11:59am eastern time.
All those who have a problem with Tech being successful in this business of music. Take time to think about what you are saying in terms of "fuck MTV" etc. This is a chance to take thought provoking quality music to the forefront and open the doors for others in KC, MO as well as of course the other atists on Strange Music; Kutt, Skatt n Snug, Critical Bill, Project Deadman, Krizz and let's not forget the Kabosh project and Tech's new upcoming album ISMs. We need to break this barrier and get in so that Strange can continue to bring hot shit to all the fans and to the world.

From the rules:

In the event of a dispute or for any other reason, MTVN deems it necessary or appropriate, MTVN reserves the right to make the final winner determination.

We aren't going to screw Tech out of winning MTV will...
