Running back Michael Robinson has been nominated for the NFL Rookie of the Week.

Robinson carried five times for 29 yards and two touchdowns in the 49ers 38-24 loss to the Philadelphia Eagles. His scores came on consecutive one-yard touchdown runs late in the third and early in the fourth quarters for the first touchdowns of his NFL career.

Robinson joins Colts defensive back Antoine Bethea, Packers receiver Greg Jennings, Jaguars running back Maurice Jones-Drew, and Patriots running back Laurence Maroney as nominees for games played on September 24-25.

Fans can vote for one of these five players on NFL.com beginning Tuesday at 9am EST and ending on Thursday at 5pm EST to determine the NFL Rookie of the Week. The winner will be announced Thursday evening on NFL.com.

In addition, for the second year, NFL fans may cast their votes using phones with Sprint wireless service - an opportunity available only to Sprint customers. This fast, convenient voting method involves texting the word PEPSI to short code 7777. Sprint customers will then receive an interactive text message that links fans to the ballot with the five finalists each week. Data and text messaging rates may apply.

yeah i saw it, it wasnt too impressive considering Mike Adams really isnt a "star" player, and doesnt get recognition,

but for dawkins (pro bowler,1 of the best S in the league) to get punked by a rookie (college QB at that), is more impressive

Speaking of the dumbest shit.. That stiff arm was a regular, run-of-the-mill stiff arm. Didn't even drop Mike Adams, just pushed him away. You do understand that it is 50x harder to tackle someone while running top speed, right? Or did you never play football?

Someone had a gif image of Shaun Alexander stiff arming some dude somethin viscious. That was a stiff arm to talk about.
