I don't know how good vizio is but they have some good brands. The only problem is it cost a shit load to ship the plasmas since they are so heavy but you might want to check out some of the lcd's too the shipping wont be so much.

my family picked this exact tv up and since then we have absolutely no regrets. shits hellllla less than anything out on the market, i recommend you to by the vizio.

Yes, a 47in is an odd side but it's doesn't really matter, the bigger the better. LCD's have a longer lifespan then plasmas and I hate how on Plasmas the TV screen overheats hella quick unlike an LCD tv.

That Vizio looks pretty fuckin sick, I say you should buy it. Also, good find Greg I might consider it also.

Plasma sucks hands down... Go for LCD but by next year the craze will be OLED.

vizios r cool for the price, i was in the market for 32" vizio but am leaning towards getting the 32" sharp aquos instead. if u compare the vizio side by side to one of the better brands and could afford to pay a couple hundred more, u should do it since your spending a lot of money anyway. might as well get the best now before u regret not buying it later...remember u get what u pay for.
