This album is heat, any Jay Tee fan will be more than happy with what I've heard of the album...... One of the few artists that you can always count on to come w/ some High Caliber material. Jay Tee has yet to dissapoint me as a fan with a single one of his solo/group releases and this record is no different

Shake the Spot: This is a canidate for the first single, definetly hot track. Basically just talkin about the normal playter/hustler shit. Part of the beat reminds me of the drums in the song "shake yo' thang feat. the Luniz" off the So Cold album . He's got a different type of flow on it, kinda quiet but it goes great w/ the beat. Savage lyrics like usual.... after the first couple spins this is my favorite track.

I Can't Go for that feat. Mac Dre: Miami is on the hook, this is some old bay area type shit. For some reason it just takes me back to some of his older shit. This song is some strictly pimpin' shit.

"I take you to the strip club and sell what you shake/ and come home with ALL the bread/ The old Jay Tee was cool with head / but now I'm so quick to give a bitch the boot / if I don't get to count ALL the loot"


Boss To Preciseness feat. E-40 it's some real different type of shit I didn't expect but it's a hot cut. I just been sittin back, kickin' my feet up with some mixed drinks and put this shit on repeat.... letting this album grow on me. I wouldn't say he re-invented his style cuz he really didn't...... but he changed something and the more I listen the more it grows on me.

I have no doubts that this album is going to be tight, Jay Tee and his camp have always dropped quality music. The production is always heated....

Who produced this album? Big Ice? Johnny Z?

The more I listen to Shake The Spot, the more I am feelin it and I Can't Go For That is just fire...

This album is definately Jay Tee on another level...

The exact release date will be determined in the next few days, but for now it's not out yet. Lisa (LMD1510) and I got copies of some of the tracks because Jay Tee sent them to us...... it's well worth the wait Proppa, I can't see any Bay fan not digging this album.... PURE HEAT.

Bounce Bounce feat. Don Cisco and B-12: This song is straight up heat. Beat is real cool, it's got a little high pitched flute that comes in from time to time, Everyone flows TIGHT with the beat.... definetly got me bouncin' my head. Miami came with a sick hook on this one too

Yea, I heard acouple of song awhile ago and it's some hard shit!! Jay Tee was spittin' some fire. Can't wait till the album drops. Ya'll make sure you get this album!!

1). Is HIGH CALIBER still going to be a double CD, or is Jay Tee making it a single?

2). Jay Tee mentioned an N2Deep DVD, but are there going to be any other 40 Ounce CDs besides HIGH CALIBER out this year?

High Caliber is just going to be a single CD.


The N2DEEP DVD+CD will be out later this year.


The other 40 Ounce releases due out this year are:

Frost Presents "Somethin For The Riderz" July 1, 2003
Bayriderz 3 "Kalifornia: State of Emergency" July 1, 2003

as well as Mully Mak, Gemini, Don Cisco, 707 Richter Scale Compilation and more...
