Scoring 81 points is not a bad example for the kids. Getting caught cheating on your wife with an ugly white bitch in colorado is probably a bad example for the kids. I mean, come on man, this is America, we cheat UP not DOWN. Pay attention kids. WE CHEAT UP, NOT DOWN.

like Vince Carter is one to speak on ball-hogging. Didnt he put up just as many shots as kobe last year?

anyways... I get what hes saying though. Kobe is promoting stat-inflation instead of team play. He'd rather look good and lose than look bad in a win.

Yeah, that's true..Vince and Kobe both put up 20 a game last year...Sounds like Vince might be a little jealous.

^I don't know about that, the media does blow things outta proportion most of the time to try and build up controversy. This kind of stuff definitely gonna sell tickets the next time the Lakers play the Nets!

Anyway I don't think he's sending a bad example to kids, but I agree with what someone said eariler. He ain't promoting team play and he's just tryin to make his own stats look good. He's not tryin to get his teammates involved as much as he should.

He could easily help Odom become a better player and get him more involved. I remember reading an article on ESPN a while back saying the main difference between Kobe and Jordan, is that Jordan knew how to turn Pippen and others into stars. But Kobe doesn't know how to do that, and if Jordan was on the Lakers he would find a way to turn Odom into a scoring threat, I think that's how the article went.

Anyway he could also help Smush Parker and Kwame Brown turn into better all-around players if he wanted to.
