c'mon man, why do you think the announcers were clowning like that? If you were playing any kind of fundamentally sound defense you could pressure the ball and not let him tie his damn shoe with the ball in play or have him drive around you.

its basically showboating to tie your shoe during the game... like lightweight harlem globetrotters style. If I was a defender, i would have taken it as an insult, but mostly I would be embarrassed for playing such soft defense.

Just goes to show that the announcers didn't know what was going on. Deng and Pargo were supposed to switch defensively. The Raptors were working for the last shot of the quarter so it didn't really matter if Deng or whoever played Jack tight or not.
