Anyone here know what kind of input i need in my comp to take a signal from a video camera??? and any software thats good for editing???

what if i tell yall i got some asian freak gettin gangbanged at a party and i wanna get it on my comp so i can share it wit the siccness....can someone help me now????

if your camcorder is digital you can probably buy a firewire/dv card & cord. roughly $50 for the card & $20 for the cord.

or

you can buy a new graphics card that has rca inputs which should run roughly $100+

But these prices are pretty ancient. Your best bet is to head to your nearest frys & ask someone there.

You will need either a free FireWire port or video card with video input (RCA/S-Video) or a dedicated capture card depending on your camera's outputs.

For software it depends on your budget and platform. If on the Mac then use either Final Cut Express, Final Cut, Final Cut Pro or Avid Express DV. If on the PC use Adobe Premiere Pro, Sonic Foundry Vegas Pro, or Avid Express DV. I would suggest to try Vegas first as it is the cheapest of the three.
