it doesnt really matter if hes not used to his full capabilitys or not....V.D. needs to produce more to be worthy of that high of a pick...

Miller is and has been the more productive TE at this point....

Exactly. Who gives a shit about "potential"? We are talking about what has ben done to this point. VD has done nothing.

Damn I was trying to give VD the benefit of the doubt and then when those of you who says he's a bust compared him to Miller, y'all got me ready to change my opinion. I would take Miller because he's a complete tight end. I wish they would up his speed in Madden because I am always getting caught from behind. VD is walking down bust street. I agree with mooreblock,defy,corithian and my folks S1.

people throw the "bust" word around to much.....he could blow up and have a huge season and yall would look stupid.....hes only been in the leauge for 3 years....some of the best players dont even see the field till thier 3rd year...

VD could step up and shut up everyone.....hes an underachever right now though

Yeah but he could also be taking up a position and holding another player back that deserves playing time. Just cuz hes a high draft pick dont mean he shouldnt be benched

^^^and is a decent player...anyone who returns a kick (preseason or not) 102 yards cant be that bad...i just dont see how you dont utilize 2 athletic TE's like the ones the niners have. I know they want them to block, but using 2 guys like that would do wonders for the passing game.

yea hes a bust, i think the niners should trade him to the vikings for a 7th round pick and a sack of potatoes :cheeky: He plays on a boo boo team, put him on a team with a decent quarterback and a OC who knows how to use a TE and he'd be tearin shit up
