I can't remember what the copyright law constitutes when it comes to selling music over the net....something about if it doesn't sell (X) amount of copies Im in the clear when it comes to that. I could be wrong though.... but I don't care, Im not worried about some damn child molester trying to sue me.

Im sayin the person who recorded may have publishing rights to it, which means he/she controls what can and cannot be done with them. If he/she heard those verses on someone elses album, he/she could file a lawsuit against the person for using the verses without permission.

Unfrotunetly, most rappers are too dumb to understand this concept, thats why verses get sold by producers, becuase they own the publishing rights.
