Damn hella fags tryin to talk shit. I had to check this shit out on Northern Ridas cause I knew it couldn't be that bad. I checked out 3 tracks and I didn't like the one with A-Wax, but the one with Arsen and Cane was sick, sounded like you guys had fun doin it. The one with Matai and Equipto was sick too. I never post on these kinds of threads normally but seeing all these fools talkin shit I had to. I know there are a few people out there not trying to hate, and they just didn't feel the album, but understand if you aint tryin to hate you don't throw yourself in with the fags who are.
i can tell the difference but in my opinion it seems like more of this is a personal attack at me as oppose to music realeated i knew not everyone was gonna dig the album but im tryna do something different some that everyone could appreciate not just the bay or people that like bay area hip hop i've been on that hardcore riggama role for years its just played to me people around here dont like change its like the east coast was when we were on top in the early and mid ninetys now they are back on top and it looks like to stay cuss anytime a rap makes a song out here that aint about gangterism its labeled as sell out shit

see...what all these fools do, is hate on what dood looks like, homo shit...U say V-Boy's lyrics is corny, but if U check alot of these other "gangsta" records that's showcased on northern-ridaz.com, they are all HORRIBLE (lyrics wise)...but muthafucaz won't speak on those like they would on an album like this one...why? who knows...maybe cuzz V-Boy is on siccness and other artists ain't? nahh, i dunno about that...I think maybe it's because society has brainwashed all these kids thinking it's "cool" to belittle lighter skinned folks like they aint as down 4 their shit as others...feel?
V-Boy...album is decent mane...alot of stand-out tracks...don't pay haters no mind unless U really have to...another reason why all this hatin occurs is because U pay em too much attention...U see, kids nowadayz, because society is so fucked, they need 2 get "energy" from other places in tha world to help them maintain and not explode...feel? 4 example...let's say a dood's family doesn't pay attention 2 him, let's say he's broke and/or his bitch broke up wit him etc etc etc, he feels lonely like tha world is against him etc etc...he needs 2 get that "energy" he gets from his parents, money, g/f etc etc from somewhere else...usually in da streets bangin on muthafucaz or drugs or anywhere else they can get that "energy" from...maybe even an internet message board...might seem stupid, but it makes sense...they come on here, pick a victim, belittle tha shit outta him or her and get that "energy" they wanted, makes them feel better about themselves temporarily because of tha fact that they have low self-esteem...now when U fight back and present arguments that goes against they shit and tha ball comes back on your court then U gettin that "energy" they took from this back from them and it makes U feel better...which means they ain't gone stop tha hatin till they get what they want...and if yur strong enough inside, you'll let em have it like fuck it, i'll let it slide...but I kno how it is tho mayne...if a muthafuca come at me sidewayz, I'ma explode in they face too...but by knowing all this shit, I try 2 chill about most things...feel?

Aiight, I pride myself on being honest and straight up about shit..everybody on here should know that I don't hold a damn thing back. Plus, I've never worked with V-Boy and I haven't really kicked it with him...YET!! So my opinion is not a biased one. With that said, here we go. All this shit I've heard from V-Boy, I personally like it...granted it is not the best in the world...but then again I'm not the best in the world either. Dude has heart, dedication, respect, passion, and talent. Yes, there's always room to grow, and he will be growing for YEARS...shit, everybody that's blown up, they're still growin. Why hate on him?? He's doing something muthafuckaz CAN'T DO every day...he has a dream, he's pursuing it, and his music isn't GARBAGE like 98% of the shit I've been hearing lately.
With all that said, I can't wait to go back up to Redwood and lay something down with V-Boy...it's hard to find cats that put their music into the same light as I do...he makes his music according to what his heart tells him, it doesn't get any realer than that!!

i aint heard it yet but i'm gonna check it out and let u know what i think. i don't know if u know these mothafuckaz sendin all them personal attacks your way or not but they trying to get under your skin i guess. for the most part it seems like u could take constructive criticism which is definitely a good thing.

ok v-boy my verdict is in so here it is: i listened to 3 songs (the one with big rich, the one with equipto, and the one with can and arsen) all of the songs had tight beats. i'm liking the production there. u came a lot better than i expected. the song with big rich is tight (8/10) equipto song is tight, u guys almost have the same voice (7.5/10) the song with can and arsen: the intro to that song was waaaaaaaaayy to long. wtf is the double t?? haha. i didn't like that song. the first verse wasn't that good. those features didn't bring much to the table. go out and get more known features like big rich, equipto and a-wax i guess(4/10)

fuck what you're talkin bout. people aint gonna buy a cd with a bunch of people they don't know on it. if u see an artist that u don't know but u see some tight features u will be more likely to take a chance on the cd with the features u know of. that doesn't make sense to u? u don't shit then! haha. what a dumb advice lol
i've listened to it @ northern-ridaz & i mean the album wasn't horrible. itz just some different shit. i admit, i wasn't feelin all of the beats, but i can not make judgement on the album. i gotta let the album soak on me some after i buy it. but i will say itz not a garbage album, & i'm not just sayin that shit cause i wanna be "nice".
