now normally I wouldn't make a thread for this shit because not a lot of people give a shit, kinda like all those Titans threads(no offense block)

BUT, the reason this is somewhat thread worthy is that, we haven't played as a national team IN cuba in 61 years....

some facts...

-The U.S. is making their second-ever visit to Cuba and the first since 1947, when the U.S. fell by a 5-2 scoreline in Havana.

-The teams have met twice in FIFA World Cup qualifying play, both matches coming during efforts to advance to the 1950 FIFA World Cup. Playing twice in Mexico City, the teams first drew 1-1 on Sept. 14, 1949, before the U.S. cruised to a 5-2 victory a week later.

-Overall, the U.S. holds a 5-1-1 lifetime record against Cuba, including three shutouts.

Here are highlights of the last time the national teams played in the 2005 gold cup..USA won 4-1

damn the USA keeps steamrolling over these international soccer powers! how did they do it??!
playing in central america on shitty fields in hostile environments isn't easy at all, thought you knew some shit about soccer, playing down there, against teams who have never made world cup(and may be the only chance they get in their life to get their national team to the World Cup), so they play a class up then the normally do, add to that, that we are the USA and people love playing us and fans loving cheering against the USA....

Also, they didn't let USA scout Cuba's game against Trinidad and Tobago before hand, 2nd the cuban players LIVED at the stadium USA practiced at the day before the game, so they could walk out onto their balcony's and watch the USA practice. 3rd the cuban players don't play professionally outside of cuba, so you can't really study the players you play against or be familiar with their playing style
