Side to side movement and amazing footwork isn't running like a bitch, it's technique. That's how Machida fights .. he's not going to "stand and bang" or swing for the fences and put himself in comprimising situations. He's gonna attack and get out and wait for his opening to hurt you, if he doesn't come he'll gladly win a decision.
i didnt say anything bad about machida. he fought a great fight. im just pissed cuz u have tito ortiz like 2or 3 times DURING the actual fight trying to complain that Machida is running when Tito wasnt doing shit. He fought exactly the same way he fought rashad evans.
Bottom line : Tito sucks and has no chance in the light heavyweight division in the ufc.

The Machida-Ortiz fight bored the hell out of me and everybody I watched it with. Everybody was pissed at Machida for the way he fought that fight. But that's not to say he didn't easily win. It just makes for boring fights.. He's the anti-Wanderlei. Wanderlei would rather lose than put on a boring fight, this guy will win at all costs no matter how fucking mindnumbingly boring it is.

I could see that if Rampage loses the title. but i don't think he will.. Though, I think Wandi needs at least two consecutive wins before he should get a title shot.
But the fact that he has beaten rampage twice could propel him quicker, though. But since he just came off a three fight losing streak, though only two should count, he should have to win at least a few before he gets a title shot.

maaan.. i just got back from vegas now.... ufc was off the hook!!.... the mgm was packed like crazy with nuthin but bj penn fans... but yea the machida ortiz fight was better in person i think bc the atmosphere crowd talkin shit half tito half machida..... every fight was pretty dam good except that clementi etim fight...... etim clearly won i fuckin hate clementi....
Man its nice to see wand back to his old ways. Rape choke for the win! Also I would be pretty pissed if they put Wand against Machida for the next fight. While I think Machida is a great and incredibly intelligent fighter, he is just too much of a snooze fest for me and quite possibly a horrible match up for Wand.
I could see Dana White giving him a title shot if Rampage beats Forrest. If you think about it, it could be Dana's master plan to get chuck the title back. Knowing Wand already destroyed Rampage twice, Dana might see this as a perfect opportunity to set up liddell vs wand 2 for the title, thinking Chuck will beat him again.. Since Chuck is Dana's glory boy I can honestly see this happening and wouldn't be surprised at all..
