from time too time, there's rappers say certain things and im curious what exactly they mean, sometimes its subliminal talkin about fellow rappers. sometimes its just lyrics i just wonder.... lemme start this

50 Cent ft Game - Hate it Or Love it

"Used to see 5-0 throw the crack by the bench
Now I'm fucking with 5-0, it's all starting to make sense "

What The fuck does it mean its starting too make sense?

Kanye West - Through The Wire

If you could feel how my face felt
you would know how Mase felt
Thank God I ain't to cool for the safe belt

Was this a diss? or what was he talking about?

I think he was talkin about how he found God and was touched by him during his pain, and now he understands why Mase left the game to follow God.

I always wondered about Richie Rich's verse in "Id Ratha Be Ya Nigga" where he's talkin about smoke coke, or spoke coke, or sport coat...

"You can ride and Ill smoke coke, you get your lobster and crab
Cause all I got is conversation and a gang of stab"

and

"I'll be your nigga, as long as we can understand
that I's the nigga who smoke coke and be the man"

the kanye west lyrics to me mean: his ego and his expectations and his lack of appreciation for his life and situation left him when he felt reality (the car crash) and how coming that close to death made him realize that being close to god transcends what you do in your life no matter how important it is to you.

them game lyrics make plenty of sense to me...

He remembers sellin crack and havin to ditch the cops and the trouble his old life was, after gettin involved with 50 and seein how 50 used to live game realized that the whole crack thing was a learnin experience and a steppin stone to better things and that he probably feels he wasn't meant to just sell dope his whole life.
